The bartender here was super friendly. I love their huge selection of cans and also decent selection of drafts. The sandwich was actually really good. There were bands playing outside and it was an overall great time.
Enjoyed coming here for a few quick bites and a nice draft. Discovered this gem through yelp. Such a nice staff. Very homie and down to earth. Loved the hipster vibes and the fact that you can build your own beer pack to go! The bites were extremely reasonable and cheap! I mean 3 pretzel and 2 pizza? 5 happy hour! This place is where it’s at! Definitely a place for small bites and pub style food. If covid wasn’t around it would def be a spot I’d normally go to to hang with friends and grab a few beers. Love the artsy vibes and the sticker wall as well as the fact that the staff will recommend what’s poppin and some of the staff faves. I was excited to try one of their sours. As soon as I ordered they let me know they ran out. They totally made my night. Not only did they comp the beer and let me have the last sips on the house but they also offered me a replacement. They happened to be carrying my favorite beer brewers from Hudson Valley Bewery. This sour was an even better option and I got to have the best of both worlds. Such a nice experience. Very few people and you can definitely just come here to order a few beers to go and some quick bites. Thanks guys for being open and for working hard!
Ok- why would you go to a place with 3 star food? Because the food is actually the bar Trying hard to meet a need & building up: but THE DRAW this the anazing live musicJazz band & the after-Session jam session with even more jazz true lovers coming together to support their Art. Certainly worth it, the Craft Beer alone is worth it: but with the not-ear-drum-bursting jazz: just Wonderful
They have a nice rotation of craft beers on tap, some which are amazing! There is also a huge selection in cans and bottles. They have s canning machine so you can get what’s on draft yo go. You can also fill your growler.
A great place for a beer and a small bite! The decor is unique and the service is great. Definitely recommend if you need to kill some time or need a quick snack.
I went there 4 times already and I must say that for a recent new comer to the US, this place is a hidden gem. Great craft beer selection and Evan (the owner) is a pretty awesome dude. I am a punk rock sound mixer and filmmaker from Lisbon, Portugal that has been touring the world since 1996 and I really thought that now living in corky expensive Westchester that it would be rare to feel and get in touch with “real scrappy people”, I guess I was wrong so thank you Growlers for having me, much appreciated. Last Tuesday was night jam sessions hosted by Paul Francis which is indeed an awesome fellow. Great jam ladies and gentlemen. P.s. my only two cents recco goes to the happy hour it could definitely be a bit more attractive so i could spend all my afternoons at The Green Growler hehe
Chris is the best! Wonderful Place for a quick bite and good vibes! Love the sofas/overall vibe, the service, and truly we make this a go to spot whenever we are in the area, especially in the fall.
